If you are a weirdo like me who still uses flash MX (You know, flash 6, from 2002) and you have some problems mainly opening and editing symbols in newer Windows OS (you know, when you open a symbol in the stage and it gets laggy as hell trying to open your symbol, and after that gets laggy again when you go back to the main scene), try working in it with Windows XP Compatibility Mode turned on. It will run smoothly as it is and extremely fast.
Hope it helps somebody, Flash MX is still a fine piece of software, imo the best one for lineart and stuff, and better now that is oficially free!

I use MX for everything, too. If it had filters/blending, it'd be perfect. I always have to throw my stuff into CS3 if I want to use anything special (I guess it'd be smarter to throw it into Flash 8 instead though).
